Do I need a WhatsApp Business API account?+

We help you get set up with the WhatsApp Business API through Meta's Cloud API. You can use your existing business number or get a new one during signup.

How does pricing work?+

App-ening uses a simple prepaid wallet model. You top up your wallet and each message is charged at an all-inclusive rate. Platform subscription gives you features like Team Inbox, Journeys, and analytics. Service conversations (when customers message you first) are completely free.

Is there a free plan?+

Yes! Our Free plan lets you test the platform with limited contacts and features. Plus, service conversations from WhatsApp are completely free. Upgrade anytime — no credit card required to start.

What are “service conversations” and why are they free?+

When a customer messages you first, that opens a free 24-hour service window. You can reply unlimited times within that window at no WhatsApp charge. Meta made these free in November 2024.

How does message billing work?+

App-ening charges a monthly platform subscription plus per-message costs deducted from your prepaid wallet. Each message rate is all-inclusive — it covers Meta's conversation charge and platform costs in one simple rate.

Does App-ening limit my WhatsApp messages?+

No. App-ening plans include limits on contacts, team members, and automations — but not on WhatsApp message volume. Your messaging limits are set by Meta based on your WhatsApp Business API tier.

Can I track my ad performance?+

Absolutely. App-ening has deep Meta Ads integration with ROAS analytics, click-to-WhatsApp attribution, and conversion tracking built-in.
