Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy was last updated on March 3, 2026. By subscribing to any paid plan on App-ening, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation and refund policy.

1. Overview

App-ening (operated by app-ening.com) provides subscription-based access to our WhatsApp Business Platform. This policy covers cancellation and refund terms for all paid plans.

2. Subscription Plans

App-ening offers the following subscription options:

  • Free Plan: Limited features, no charge
  • Paid Plans: Starter, Pro, Business, Enterprise
  • All paid plans are billed monthly via Razorpay payment processor
  • Current pricing is available at https://www.app-ening.com/pricing

3. No Refund Policy

ALL PAYMENTS MADE TO APP-ENING ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Monthly or annual subscription fees — no refunds for any reason
  • Per-message and per-conversation fees (WhatsApp charges) — non-refundable once incurred
  • Fees for any billing period, whether fully or partially used
  • Fees paid prior to account suspension or termination (whether by you or by us)
  • Fees paid for features you did not use during the billing period

We do not provide refunds, credits, or prorated adjustments under any circumstances, including but not limited to: dissatisfaction with the service, failure to use the Platform, technical issues, third-party service outages (WhatsApp, Google, AWS), account suspension due to policy violations, or voluntary cancellation.

4. Plan Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Platform (Settings > Billing) or by contacting support@app-ening.com
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until the billing period expires
  • No refunds or prorated credits are provided for unused days, weeks, or portions of a billing period
  • After your billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan
  • You are responsible for canceling before your next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the next period
  • If you cancel and later resubscribe, you will be charged at the then-current pricing

5. Plan Changes

  • Upgrades: Take effect immediately. You will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing period.
  • Downgrades: Take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refund for the difference.
  • You can change plans at any time through Platform settings.

6. Late Payment and Grace Period

  • If payment fails, you will receive notification via email and in-app alerts
  • A grace period may be provided at our sole discretion to update your payment method. The duration and availability of any grace period is determined by us and may change without notice.
  • During the grace period, some features may be restricted
  • After grace period expiration, your account will be suspended
  • No refunds are issued for fees charged before suspension or termination

7. Account Termination

  • If we terminate your account due to Terms of Service violations, no refund will be provided
  • If you delete your account, no refund will be provided for the current billing period
  • Data will be deleted within a reasonable period following account termination, in accordance with our internal processes and Privacy Policy

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

  • Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us at support@app-ening.com may result in immediate account suspension
  • We reserve the right to dispute unauthorized chargebacks
  • If a chargeback is filed, we will provide transaction evidence to the payment processor

8.5 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, APP-ENING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR EXPENSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO BILLING, PAYMENT PROCESSING, SUBSCRIPTION CHANGES, OR ACCOUNT TERMINATION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: INCORRECT CHARGES, PAYMENT PROCESSING ERRORS BY THIRD-PARTY PROCESSORS (RAZORPAY), FAILED PAYMENT NOTIFICATIONS, UNEXPECTED SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS, OR ANY ACTIONS TAKEN DURING OR AFTER A GRACE PERIOD. ALL BILLING AND PAYMENT SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS AND SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY BILLING-RELATED CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE LESSER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 5,000.

8.6 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless App-ening, its owners, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Disputes with payment processors or financial institutions regarding charges you authorized
  • Chargebacks filed without first attempting to resolve the issue directly with us
  • Your failure to cancel your subscription before a billing cycle renewal
  • Any claim that our billing practices were unfair, deceptive, or unauthorized, where such charges were made in accordance with these Terms

This indemnification obligation survives account termination.
