What do I pay App-ening for?

You pay a monthly platform subscription for features like Team Inbox, Journeys, automation, analytics, and API access. Per-message costs are deducted from your prepaid wallet at all-inclusive rates.

How do I pay for WhatsApp messages?

You load a prepaid USD wallet inside App-ening via Razorpay or credit card. When you send a template message, the cost is deducted automatically at an all-inclusive rate — Meta's conversation fee is included. You never deal with Meta billing directly.

What exactly is a "conversation" in WhatsApp?

A conversation is a 24-hour messaging window. Once opened, you can send multiple messages within that window for a single charge (or free for service conversations).

Are service conversations really free?

Yes! As of November 2024, Meta made all service conversations (customer-initiated) completely free with no monthly cap. You only pay for business-initiated template messages.

Does App-ening limit how many messages I can send?

App-ening plans include limits on contacts, team members, journeys, and templates - but WhatsApp message volume is not limited by us. Your messaging limits are determined by your WhatsApp Business API tier (set by Meta based on your account quality).

How can I estimate my WhatsApp costs?

Can I switch plans anytime?

What happens if my wallet runs out?

If your wallet balance reaches zero, outbound template messages will be paused until you top up. Service conversations (customer-initiated) remain free and unaffected. You'll receive low-balance alerts before this happens.

What features are included in the Free plan?

The Free plan includes 100 contacts, 1 team member, 5 templates, 1 campaign per month, and basic messaging. Automation features (journeys, rules, sequences) require the Starter plan or above.
